Stacey Allan is a multi-disciplinary artist using sculpture, ceramics, installation art, video, and sound to bring her speculative worlds and characters to life.
Through feminist world-building she explores the everyday silencing of women, aiming to strike a balance between the seriousness of the subject with the whimsy of folklore.
Stacey recently graduated from UCA Farnham with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art achieving a First-Class Honours degree. Prior to this she has worked in the video games industry for over a decade as a 3D environment artist and currently works as a freelance writer and cartographer for Dungeon & Dragons tabletop roleplaying products.
As an avid gamer, she believes this experience has contributed greatly to her current sculptural, world-building practice, and has generated in her an interest in how collaborative storytelling might assist overcoming traumas in a therapeutic setting.
Stacey lives and works in Surrey.
